Celebrating Heroism, Sportsmanship
and the Great Outdoors
The StoneWood Ranch is located on the rising plains of Southern Oklahoma, and offers beautiful views of nature and a disappearing mountain range. Our 5-star experience was created from founder John Folkert’s vision, as a place for his family, friends and our nation’s heroes to relax and celebrate their love of the outdoors, while promoting health and healing.
The StoneWood Ranch was designed around the natural landscape, and has been expertly stocked. It has become a private playground for both serious sportsmen and beginners alike. Our guests have the ability to reside in a 21,000 square foot lodge, and dine in with first class, southern hospitality.
Experiences at The Ranch include guided hunts, quiet fishing, corporate retreats, guys or girls weekends away, and so much more.
Our Philanthropic Mission
Most Americans know that this is one of the first times in history that we have been at war for an extended period of time, with nothing extra asked of the American people. Here at The Ranch, we feel it’s time to change that. Our freedoms have been defended by a completely volunteer military, who have sacrificed their time, energy, families and themselves for the greater good – with little pay and recognition in return. These selfless sacrifices have left many service members with both physical and invisible scars, including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI), marital challenges, and so much more.
As a way of giving back to our service members, John and the other founders of The StoneWood had a vision to create a world-class retreat in support of the mission of the Lone Survivor Foundation. By providing for the cost and ongoing maintenance of The StoneWood, John and his team are able to donate the use of the facility to host veteran retreats through the Lone Survivor Foundation.
What Makes Us Different?
Aside from the 5-star amenities, world class hunting, and breath-taking landscape, profits from other StoneWood visitors also go to support our philanthropic mission to support the Lone Survivor Foundation, and enable The Ranch to continue their vision*. Your experience at our ranch, enables military veterans and their families to get back on a path to a normal and healthy life, post-deployments.
